Bathroom remodel - Oh My!

Since December 7th 2017 we have been remodeling our master bath.  Well today as I sit here and type we are STILL in the process of a remodel and YES we do have a contractor (if you want to call him that).  I will attached some pictures for you.  Here are the before pictures:
Our vanity

See this door?  This is the reason I wanted to remodel!

Everything started out great, the subs got right to work and ripped everything out in just a few days.  Then the drama in-laws would come to the house everyday (and still are) only to have the subs either not show up or come late and only do a very minimal amount of work.  Keep in mind, we purchased seperately above and beyond our contractors quote the following:

Quartz countertop (stay tuned to hear that fiasco) and under-mount sinks
sliding door
tile for the floor
tile for the walls
mosaics for the upper walls
LED lights
paint - YES we even had to buy the paint not only the walls but the ceiling paint too.
light fixtures
All bathroom fixtures, including faucets x2 shower heads x3 linear drain for the shower floor
Free standing bath tub
heated towel rack

Our contractors included labor and a set of (not custom) cabinets!!!!

Here is the first countertop that was installed (we did pick out the quartz but I can assure you we didn't pick out this piece) But never the less the stone company went ahead and fabricated and installed this countertop (while we were on vacation no less). Se anything wrong with it???

Yep, I bet you see it now

So after we returned from vacation we had to argue it out with the counter top company to reinstall another top since there was no way I was going to keep this!   It ended up costing us more money - but we really had no other choice at this point.

Here is the new one:
Much better!

OK counter tops are installed, cabinets are installed, tile is completed BUT we are about to enter month #5 and still NOT done.
shower floor

Still need knobs

Ummmmm still missing our pocket door

The free standing tub will sit on that oval to the left

I am so ready to be done with this.  Can you see the plastic door/walls that we have to walk thru everytime we enter the house and enter out bedroom.....FUN fun fun!

Still need......install of toilet, tub and fixtures as well as paint the ceiling and walls.  Today the sub showed up, sprayed a little texture on a wall and said he had to go.  We only get a few hours of work done and not even every day!

Ill post again (probably in at the very least another month) when we are done.
