Mother's Day

Daddy dipped Mia's hands in paint and made this for me.

Out of around 150 shots this one is the most forward facing one of Mia.....she's always moving.

Hi there, this is the family that your husband met a Lowe's. I just wanted to wish you a very special belated Mother's Day. It has been a long time most definitely worth the wait. I have been following your blog. Your daughter is just beautiful. Some of the stories that you share just crack me up because we went through a lot of it too :) I hope that one day we can meet!

Happy first Mother's Day my dear friend. It looks like you guys had a very special day and I love the card Mia and Gordon made you. Make usre you keep it somewhere special so you never lose it. Mia just looks adorable Gina.

BTW, I just wanted to share something I do. I bought a big non-toxic pad at Joann's craft store and I did handprints and footprints when the girls both arrived home and each year on their birthdays (and also height and weight measurements). I just do it on the white side of scrap booking paper and then make a scan of it and save it to my computer in case something would ever happen to the paper. I put their original hand and footprints in their lifebooks. It is really fun and neat to look back and see the growth.

it's so great to see Mia finally home and I hope your day was awesome. :)

Love,
Jonni
