WTF! Haven't we been thru enough already???????????

A Troubling CCAA Decision

I’ve heard from someone with an early May LID who has been told she is no longer approved, and will not be getting a referral.

She originally signed up as married, but then went through a divorce. She redid the required paperwork as a single, and was approved by the CCAA. However, they have now reversed that decision, and told her she is no longer in line.

Here is the waiting family, I feel empty for her.

Everybody has a dream Please stop over and visit her blog.

This is troubling for a number of reasons. To my knowledge, the CCAA has never gone back on a decision like this in the past. So far I’ve liked the decisions of the new director, but if he’s going to start trying to cut the line shorter by un-approving people they’ve already approved, that could be a problem.

I would say that it was nice of them to let her know now, and not make her find out when she was expecting a referral. But in reality, if they weren’t going to give her a referral at all then they should have let her know that years ago. Not now.

On a related note, I’ve been told that they are now re-reviewing files a short time before they are ready to be matched. (I don’t know if “short time” means weeks or months.) Not a full “fine tooth comb” review, just another set of eyeballs taking a look at the file. I guess that means we know they are up to early to mid May now with that process.
