I'm honored to have been picked for this.....Thank you Dannye.

Here is what the person that created this award says about it:

"The thing that I love most about blogging is that I learn so much about a person just by reading their blog.

I have met MANY wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful every day for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with.

I wanted to create something special for the top ten people who have inspired me through their blogging; the stories they tell, and the lives that they lead with grace and dignity.

I visit their blogs for inspiration and encouragement."

As I write this, realize that there are too many people that I would like to include.

To all of my blogging buddies (you guys know who you 'all are listed on my links) each and every one of you has helped/inspired me through this long, long wait for our daughters. If not for this blog I don't know what I would do to pass the time, not just anyone understands what it is like going through this adoption process.

OK...enough mushy stuff...............I'm stressed, time to eat cake! (I've been on Rumor Queen) You know I swore off Rumor Queen for the longest time, now she is part of the daily grind.

DIET? OH that......well I'm not gaining.

What does this mean?

"September 23rd, 2007
One European and one American agency received referrals for December LID families earlier this month. And not the beginning of December, either.
I do not have an explanation. I have not heard from anyone at this point with an explanation."

I found this on Rumor Queen today...........does this mean the wait could possibly be shorter for us? Everyday there is something new going on in the world of adoption. Yes, this all makes me a little stressed out, just as I was digesting a possible wait of late 2008 early 2009.

I have added this clickable link to my sidebar and everyday I will be clicking on it. Just one click helps to provide a bowl of food for dogs in rescue. How can I not help, you all know how I feel about my dogs.
If you frequent my blog PLEASE click on the paw (in the right sidebar-or below in this post) on every visit.

More squares needed....

I 'm piecing my quilt together & somewhere along the line I started "splitting" my squares (example shown)

I am still collecting squares since the pattern just doubled.

If you are interested in sending a square please e-mail us.

Why am I splitting the squares...I have NO idea, maybe it is keeping my stress level down :)

Gordon's Birthday

Today is Gordon's 37th Birthday and his parents (Joan & Dave) took us out to Carrabba's for dinner to celebrate. We have moved up in the world of technology....and got the "ipod shuffel" (it took us 3 hours to figure it out). Since he loves to spend hours outside manicuring the lawn I thought he would appreciate listening to some tunes while he plays.

Ladybug sighting

Gordon bought Mia her first pair of Ladybugs this weekend.

Another month passes us by

This picture was taken by a girl that works w/me...her step-son is/was in China. The landscape is beautiful.
I like the way it looks, as if she is chopping away at our wait time....see how much more she has??

Another few days....

Not very exciting but none the less it's a few more days done. Taken from Rumor Queen
At this pace I won't have to worry about daycare because I will be RETIRED!
